Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a product from the Girl Scouts of Western New York (GSWNY) Online Shop, you agree that you are bound by the following Terms and Conditions:
All risk of loss and damage to a product passes to the purchaser upon shipment of the product purchased via US Mail. If you prefer, your purchase may be shipped UPS at an additional charge.
Merchandise returns may be made to any of the Girl Scouts of Western New York retail shops. The retail shops will process returns of current merchandise (See Returning Ordered Items section). Returns are accepted within thirty (30) days with a receipt. We will issue the return as a check or charges will be credited. Checks will be issued no earlier than two weeks from the original purchase date.
Goods must be returned within thirty (30) days of receipt.
There will be no cash refunds. Shipping charges are not refundable. Items that have been discontinued will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
Privacy/Security
The Girl Scouts of Western New York Online Shop holds the highest respect for its customers and guarantees our firm commitment to your privacy. We do not sell or distribute any of the information provided by you to any other institutions. By registering and/or buying products from us online, you will automatically be added to our mailing list, but you do have the option to "opt-out." If at anytime you would like to be removed from our list, simply contact one of the GSWNY retail shops by calling 1.888.837.6410, and you will be removed from our mailing list.
As a customer, you should always be concerned about the security of your credit card information. Please be assured that your financial information is sent to us via encrypted data and can therefore not be hacked, received, or deciphered by others. GSWNY has taken the steps to ensure your security by using the highest levels of encryption security for all Online Shop purchases. If you are still not comfortable with releasing your credit card information via the Online Shop Web site, you may call 585. 239.7901 to speak to a customer service representative.Please note that no orders will be considered complete until payment has been received and authorized.
Item Description
The GSWNY Online Shop takes great care to describe all products as they appear online. The limitations of broadcasting may mean a slight variation. All reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions are accurate. However, specifications are subject to change and the GSWNY Online Shop cannot be held responsible for product changes and other discrepancies, either real or perceived.
Payment
We accept all the major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
We also accept checks, made payable to Girl Scouts of Western New York, for up to the value of your order. Please feel free to call 585. 239.7901 for further information.
Sales Tax
Sales Tax is not included in the prices.
Prices
The prices quoted on the Web site are those valid at the time of production. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may be altered up or down. All products shown on the Web site are subject to availability.
Order Confirmation
Purchasers will be notified by e-mail as soon as orders are received. Please ensure that you correctly enter your e-mail address and other requested information on the order form. If we have questions regarding your order, we will contact you via e-mail or telephone.
Goods Out of Stock
If you place an order and the goods are out of stock, we will inform you ASAP via e-mail or telephone. Please ensure that you submit your correct e-mail and telephone details on the order form.
If your order contains multiple items, you can choose to wait for the out-of-stock item to arrive and ship everything together, or choose to ship the order in separate deliveries.
Cancelling or Altering Orders
You may cancel or alter your order at any time prior to its dispatch by contacting a GSWNY Council shop. Altered orders may be subject to a small delay in shipping as the order is repackaged, etc. Please have your order number and details ready when contacting the Council shop at 585.239.7901.
Off-line Orders
Off-line orders may be printed and sent by fax, post, or e-mail, together with payment. Your order will be dispatched within seven (7) days. In the event of a product being out of stock, you will be contacted and made aware of an expected date of delivery.
Order Dispatch
Orders received before 4 p.m. on Wednesday will be shipped before or/by closing on Thursday, provided the ordered items are in stock.
Items ordered after 4 p.m. on Wednesday will be shipped before or/by the following Monday, provided the ordered items are in stock.
In some instances there may be a delay due to holiday schedules and delayed mail services.
The GSWNY Online Shop stock status is constantly updated, but demand is high and we occasionally run out of stock on popular items. If, for this reason, we cannot dispatch your order, we will contact you with a revised dispatch date.
Returning Ordered Items
Should you need to return an ordered item, please call 585. 239.7901first as issues can often be resolved without incurring unnecessary postal charges. If however, it is deemed necessary to return an item for exchange or refund, please note the following:
Merchandise returns may be made, in person, to any of our GSWNY Council shops or shipped back to the GSWNY Online Shop using the following address: Girl Scout of Western New York Shop, 1020 John Street, West Henrietta, NY 14586.
Returned goods must be in their original packaging, with labels and tags still attached.
Goods must be returned within thirty (30) days of receipt.
Goods must be accompanied by the original receipt and a note outlining the reason for return.
Goods must be in new condition, that is, unused and unmarked.
Goods listed in our Special Offers or Clearance sections are not returnable.
Shipping costs and costs incurred in posting the returned items are not refundable.
Returns with an original receipt will be issued by the method it was purchased. Checks will be issued no earlier than two weeks from the original purchase date.
There will be no cash refunds.
